WWE developmental wrestlers Mason Ryan and Percy Watson are advertised for a 12-Man Battle Royal at next Thursday’s SmackDown live event at the IZOD Center in East Rutherford, New Jersey. Meanwhile, NXT Season 3 runner-up Naomi is slated to partner with Layla in a Santa’s Helper Match against Beth Phoenix and Divas Champion Natalya.

NXT 3 Rookie AJ Lee defeated fellow Rookie Naomi Knight at last night’s tapings to become the new FCW Divas Champion. The match will air in January and saw AJ play a heel.

Update On NXT Rookies

In terms of Kaitlyn becoming the NXT winner last night, the fan balloting was said to have played a huge part in the overall decision. Of the other NXT Divas, it is expected that both Naomi and AJ will make the main WWE roster.

AJ and Primo are set to be a duo on RAW and Kaitlyn will likely end up on SmackDown to continue her program with Vickie Guerrero.

There’s no word on the futures of Maxine and Akansa and they are both expected to continue working in FCW. There has been talk of using Aksana in some sort of comedy role on RAW, but nothing beyond that.

Jamie Keyes was brought in last night after her release following elimination, and there was a lot of people surprised to see her. Other women following their eliminations were on the road every week for both RAW and SmackDown shows.

Alicia Fox’s sister Christina Crawford made her FCW wrestling debut this past week at a developmental show. Crawford, under the name Caylee Turner, teamed with Rosa Mendes and Aksana to lose to AJ Lee, Kaitlyn and Naomi Knight.

The NXT Rookie get a beautiful new photoshoot with your Halloween costumes. Maxine as xmas girl, AJ as TMNT, Naomi as Hamburger Helper and Aksana as Devil. Kaitly was dressed as Vickie Guerrero but she didn't get a photoshoot.

According to F4Wonline, the NXT Rookie Diva favorites amongst WWE management are Kaitlyn and Naomi. Company officials are said to be “super high” on Kaitlyn following her match with Vickie Guerrero last week, while Naomi is considered by far the best athlete of the season three cast.

WWE has tentative plans for both contestants following the season’s conclusion.

People within WWE are referring to NXT Rookie Naomi Night as a “female Shelton Benjamin.” This is being said about her in a good way as Shelton was respected for being one of the most athletic stars on the roster for a long time.
