Tiffany Talks on Michelle McCool

Former WWE Diva Taryn “Tiffany” Terrell was asked on Twitter this weekend if she thinks she will ever return to WWE. Tiffany replied:
“if I have to sleep with people in power to keep or continue progressing in my job, I’d rather be poor.”
This led to speculation that she was referring to WWE Diva Michelle McCool, who is married to The Undertaker. Tiffany responded to those comments with the following:
“No my tweet was not about michelle. She gained her success and talent on her own, it honestly is mean that anyone would accuse her otherwise. If you are not there or in the locker room with her, its completely unfair to say that about her. She is talented and creative and patient and I have a ton of respect for her.”

Last night’s match between Maxine and Kaitlyn on NXT is being almost universally panned by both wrestling fans and Joey Styles alike. He said:

Maxine responded to criticism of the match on Twitter, writing:
“Yea the match was tough. It’s hard to lead someone with 2 months experience almost impossible.”

Kaitlyn had no prior wrestling experience prior to being signed by WWE in July.

"I couldn't be happier about tonight at HIAC...@McCoolMichelleL is one tough cookie and I'm well aware of that- but tonight, I felt I more than made a statement...I felt proud of our match tonight- and as crazy/insane as it sounds, proud of Laycool, too."

Jillian Confirms New Role as FCW Trainer

WWE Diva, Jillian has confirmed reports that she will be heading down to FCW to become a trainer for the female developmental talent. However, the former Divas Champion says she is ‘taking a break’ rather than being retired by WWE as we previously reported.
On her Twitter page, Jillian writes:

Taking a break to share my knowledge with the younger ladies. Hoping to guide them in the right direction. Just wanna put rumors to rest. P.S. This is a good thing! :))

I guess it’s open for interpretation what Jillian means here. Will she be taken off TV permanently and head down to FCW full-time or will she return at some point? Previous reports suggest the former, but perhaps Jillian has been told otherwise? We’ll have to see if Jillian’s profile is moved to WWE.com’s Alumni page, as one example, for confirmation.

Once again, good luck to Jillian in her new position. The FCW Divas, including new signee Vicky Skeeles, will surely prosper from having her train them. Not only can she teach them in the ring, but also impart her wisdom of travelling and working as a WWE Diva for the past five years. That is knowledge that these girls cannot learn from your standard FCW trainer; Jillian can teach offer these girls advice about lockerroom ettiquette, travel, photoshoots, dressing for TV etc. as she’s been on the frontlines, so to speak.

Melina Comments On WWE Dropping Women's Championship

WWE's Melina posted the following on her twitter account, regarding the WWE decision to drop the WWE Women's championship this week:

Maybe I will get in trouble 4 saying this but it never stopped me before, right? A lovely friend once told me, whenever u feel down about yourself & your career, just look at this http://www.wwe.com/inside/titlehistory/women/ . I did. From Fabulous Moolah to this year.... So many incredible women who are true Champions.... Hall of Famers!!! Pioneers held that title! When I looked at that page.... It was an incredible honor to see my name up there with all of them. People who I am a fan of & have memories watching when I was younger.

I held that title and was always picturing all these women holding the same title. It was a dream come true knowing my heroes touched this championship too. Now it's gone?

What a shame.
I'm a person that honors the past bcuz it's made me who I am in the present. It's a legacy to pass down for the future! Hall of Famers made that championship what it is. I feel like a piece of me as well as the memory of all the women who contributed to it's greatness is being put to rest with it. It's very heartbreaking. None of these women will EVER be forgotten in my heart. NEVER.

Former Champions Comment on WWE Retiring the Women’s Title

World Wrestling Entertainment has retired the WWE Women’s Championship, which lineage dates back to 1956. It was the oldest active professional wrestling championship in company history. WWE is continuing the title lineage of the Divas Championship with the Unified belt. Layla is the last recognized Women’s Champion.

Beth Phoenix, a three-time Women’s Champion, expressed her disappointment in WWE’s decision to put the title to pasture.
“It saddens me to see the historic Women’s Title moved into retirement, but I am so grateful to have had the honor of holding it. My sights remain on the Unified Diva’s Championship.”

Meanwhile, former WWE star Mickie James, a five-time holder of the belt, released an emotional statement on Twitter concerning its retirement.
“The retirement of the Women’s Championship breaks my heart. The nostalgia and the legacy built off the backs of every woman who paved the way for women like me… Who gave it credibility… Honor… Prestige… & Truth! For every woman who’s carried the championship through the generations… Who know the power & history you feel in holding it high above your head.. That can never be replaced by anything in my mind… In my heart… I am truly honored and forever grateful to be among the women who have graced its presence… Thank you…”

Ex-WWE star Carlito wrote in response to James:
“Dont worry, there’s now 2 butterfly belts!”
